Hey ya'll!
This blog isn't just about me and my everyday fashion.
Most days, I don't think I'm THAT fashionable.
So, sometimes I will pick some of my favorite looks from fellow bloggers, celebs, etc. and show you how to recreate those looks.

This first post is specifically for a friend who's looking to change her style.

Here's what I did:

I started by asking her what's her current style and where is she looking to go..
With her telling me celebrities or street style looks she likes, I am able to point her in the right direction.
Sometimes we aren't able to articulate exactly what we want so a blueprint is most helpful.

Back to her...

Me: Who's style do you like currently?
Her: Victoria Bekham, Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie, and Adrienne Ballion.

Now all of these ladies are extremely fashionable and always have a traveling glam squad in their Birkins...however, we can definitely recreate these looks in our everyday lives and on a budget.

Let's start with...
Victoria Beckham:
Mama's ALWAYS snatched & almost ALWAYS has on a 4+ pump (even with a baby on her hip, lol)

All of these looks are chic and very easy to make your own.
These are pieces you can find in F21, Zara, Urban, etc.
Blazers
Trousers
Knit Jumpers
Skinny Denim
Oversized Frames

Pretty simple, right?

Next up...
Adrienne Bailon
This Cheetah Girl has definitely made a footprint in the fashion world over the past two years.
Her girly edge with a twist is definitely something that every girl can take notes of.

She definitely mixes high and low labels to pull off these looks.
The first lace top...Zara!
The leopard print pants...BCBG!
These are pieces that won't break the bank and can transition from season to season.

Style tip: The lace blouse can be worn under a blazer and can be accessorized with a scarf for those colder climates, the shoes can be replaced with a chunky boot, and you can add a wool or leather jacket to polish it off!

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen
I won't lie, I couldn't tell them apart so I've done a mashup of the two :)

A simple oxford shirt paired with black denim and a cute chunky heel.
This look is pretty simple, yet chic.
You can even swap out to a denim shirt. (denim on denim, hayyy now!)

One thing is that an oversized jumper, scarf, skinny denim, and flats can go a long way.
(especially for those mornings when you have absolutely "nothing to wear")

Miranda Kerr

I don't know much about her other than that I LOVE her street style.
These are basics that you can transition and incorporate to look different every time you wear them.

Last, but not least...

Nicole Richie
She has evolved, a lot (as we all have) and I absolutely love the direction she is going in. She's also a very petite girl and usually dresses for her frame and it's absolutely adorable...
Once again, these are basics that allow you wiggle room to play with accessories (jewelry, hair, MAKEUP, shoes, shades...)

I hope this helps.
Simply working basics with a few statement pieces into your wardrobe go a long way without leaving you eating ramen!

Sorry...

I've been MIA for a while.
I haven't been in a place where I wanted to take pictures to blog.
But now I am excited to relaunch and
I promise to update frequently.
I've found a different approach and a new way to make sure that I can post daily.

Look out!
She's BACK!
